Niki Leist describes her jewelry creating process as a way of connecting to something other than herself — a creative journey that starts with the maker and is carried on by the wearer. Her love for jewelry design began while cutting stones in high school. In college, Niki dove into the boundless world of abstract art. This experience fueled her passion for exploring and experimenting without limits. Since then, Niki has mastered the ways materials interact, melt, and transform while putting her personal touch on every piece. She creates styles that are both distinctive and wearable, and she hopes her clients, whether purchasing ready made pieces or custom work, feel that connection.
Since receiving her Bachelor in Fine Arts from Arcadia University in 2010, she has honed her craft as a metal and silversmith. Born and raised in New Jersey, Niki currently resides in Philadelphia where she creates art and works to support her local community.

Art and justice do not exist in separate vacuums; I hope that my work is a declaration of my creative imagination, and can also be a part of the continual, human work of reciprocity and justice.
Owning a business is an incredible amount of hard work, and I know that I am privileged to be here. I’m thankful to live and learn in a diverse community of people and businesses, and I am committed to equality, justice, and freedom. 5% of all sales are donated to organizations fighting for these principles. Past organizations include ACLU Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Bail Fund, Youth Art & Self-Empowerment Project, Share Food Program, and others. It is my promise to continuously evaluate the ways in which my business can contribute to my community, and as it grows, I am open to feedback and input from my clientele to hold me accountable to this promise.
