Brooke Henningsen, a commercial real estate agent by day, wanted to help the local art community rocked by the coronavirus. A collaborative art market came to mind, where artists could directly sell their goods.
The Mercantile, a 25,000 square-foot artisans market located in the former Bon-ton location in Doylestown Borough, opened Saturday, November 7th, connecting more than 100 artists and local businesses with shoppers in time for the holidays.
More than 200 local vendors have expressed interest in selling their goods from the new “Mercantile at Doylestown,” which is expected open sometime this fall.
